Day 41 - Thursday 24 June 2010In the interest of Israeli Irony - this car has been parked there on the old railway line for the last few weeks - I can only assume months. The Jerusalem municipality is in the middle of a project to re-vamp and make a nice long nature walk along the old railway line.
Someone has gone, and in the interest of public opinion, written what looks like the word 'Shit' on the front windscreen (in Hebrew). The comedy I found here is that that word could be describing numerous things here - the crappy old car, the general Israeli attitude towards money being spent on revamping things, or hatred towards the Jerusalem Rail - which can be found everywhere!..
Either way, made me laugh =)
